Essay Topics From Writers
From what I can tell, writers with diverse backgrounds all want to write their own essays. I've heard of students who wanted to write an essay on how they 'broke the cycle' of being a parent, or a student who wanted to write a paper on 'positive thinking.' The great thing about this is that writing essays can be a lot of fun.
I myself have written essays on nearly everything imaginable. At times I have even done multiple essays at a time, all of which I used the same topic. I had articles on such things as Jello, and events that took place in or around Atlanta. One essay was a writing assignment I had with my niece. The other was a 'passion project' about my grandmother.
I wrote one article about self-esteem and confidence. It was a very honest and open article that was meant to help all young women get a feel for their own self-esteem. However, the article turned out to be about me. I was quoted on an Atlanta talk show about the article. When I got home I found an email from my niece asking me if I wanted to meet.
